Eleven people were hurt, some critically, following a two-car accident in Staten Island Thursday, officials said.
The vehicles impacted on Broadway near Castleton Ave. in Port Richmond at about 11:40 a.m., officials said.
Medics rushed the victims to Richmond University Medical Center. Many of the injuries were considered minor, officials said.
Cops were investigating the cause of the accident.
The Staten Island crash came as a vehicle killed one person and injured at least 19 others in Times Square.
