This might look like an unimpressive photo taken in a train car, but it's actually a room in the house of a Japanese train enthusiast.
The tetsudo fan (Japanese translation of the term "railfan") community in Japan is known for its obsession with everything related to trains. Some members travel all over the country snapping photos of as many train models as they can, attending ceremonial events where old train cars are commissioned out of service and trying to get their hands on collectible memorabilia. But some tetsudo fans go even further. Like Twitter user @igaigaadjmadjml, a train enthusiast whose entire social media page consists of train-related photos and message. He recently decided he shouldn't have to travel to a train station to be in a train car, so he converted one of the rooms in his house into a life size-replica of a Japanese train car.

@igaigaadjmadjml posted the first photo of his nearly completed train car bedroom on April 13, but it looked so much like an actual train car that many other railfans voiced their disbelief, adding that all the little details were too perfect. But after putting so much work into this project, the guy wasn't just going to let the doubters rob him of the praise he deserved, so a day later he posted some photos of the work in progress.

The photos show the stripped walls of the room with wooden frames to which the various train car parts were attached to create this impressive replica of a classic train car. Grapee reports that like many other tetsudo fans, @igaigaadjmadjml attends these events where old trains are commissioned out of service and buys the necessary parts needed to reassemble their cars in his home.

Even more impressive is that this isn't the first train car replica @igaigaadjmadjml has made in his house. In a recent tweet, he shared three images of a 485 series train car that he made before, and it is incredibly realistic. The guy is pretty hardcore, that's for sure.
