Polish Prime Minister Beata Szydlo is "stable" and "under control" following a Friday night car crash, but will continue to work from her hospital bed for the time being, her spokesman told news agency PAP.
"Nothing serious" happened to the 53-year-old prime minister, said spokesman Rafael Bochenek on Saturday. However, it remains unclear when she will be released from hospital.
Syzdlo was brought to the hospital Friday after her vehicle struck a tree while trying to avoid a collision with a Fiat. The driver, who was identified as a 21-year-old man on Friday, has reportedly admitted being at fault.
Syzdlo's driver and a bodyguard were also reportedly injured in the accident.
