Rumored iPhone 7 AUX to Lightning Port adapter looks like crap.
This AUX to Lightning Port adapter looks to have those exact critical points that are prone to breakage and fraying.
The latest iPhone 7 rumor making the rounds is the appearance of a purported AUX to Lightning Port adapter that looks… like crap. There's no better way for me to describe this awful design that stays true to Apple's other inferior and flimsy cables and wires. Who hasn't had at least a few iPhone charging cables break at a critical point? Well, this AUX to Lightning Port adapter looks to have those exact critical points that are prone to breakage and fraying. Take a look at the video and swing back for more thoughts.
This Lightning Port adapter is rumored to have come from a Foxconn facility in Vietnam where the blog Tinhte is located and who are the ones responsible for the video and pictures. This certainly looks like the real deal and falls right in line with what I've come to expect from Apple's peripherals. Not only are their iPhone cables made this way but their MacBook adapters are as well. This design is prone to breaking and fraying and many users have turned to third-party solutions to satisfy the need for an actual functional cable.
The iPhone 7 is rumored to come without a headphone jack and if they add this into the box with your purchase it will be a great temporary solution. But I would advise you to keep an eye out for a more durable adapter because this one is surely going to fail at some point and it's likely going to fail fairly quickly.
Now that you know what I think of this thing. What do you think of this leaked adapter for AUX to Lightning Port? Let us know in the comments below or on Twitter, Facebook and Google+.
