Nintendo announces new NES Mini that comes with 30 classic Nintendo games.
Nintendo continues the nostalgia train with the announcement of NES Classic Edition. This miniature-looking NES console comes with 30 games costing US$60 (AU$100). The free games include the much loved titles like Super Mario Bros, The Legend of Zelda and Donkey Kong.
The NES unit comes with a controller and will sell extra controllers for US$10 (AU$13). Owners will have to fork extra to enjoy the games with two players coop feature. The package also contains a power adaptor and HDMI cable.
The NES unit can be connected to a wii remote to enable the NES games on either Wii or Wii U.

Unfortunately, Nintendo confirmed that the NES Classic Edition will be unable to connect to the Internet and that users will not be able to add new games. This makes the NES more like an upgraded 30 in 1 game cartridge than a console.
The unit's USB cable will also require an AC adapter for UK owners. The adapters will have to be bought separately as it is not included with the package.
Even with the fixed 30 games, the NES Classic Edition is still a must have for any Nintendo fan. The unit itself will make a great addition to any collection.
NES Classic Edition is set to be available on November 10. Pre-orders for the console and extra controller are already available on EBGames in Australia.
