Photos of an alleged iPhone 7 adapter that will allow owners to connect regular 3.5mm headphones to a Lightning port have surfaced out of Asia today.

The new dongle has been rumored for months and will supposedly be included in the new iPhone so that customers aren't forced to buy new headphones. Images of the adapter look very similar to the style of Apple's other adapters, and in a video it appears to only work on iOS 10 devices.

Have a look:

Apple is expected to unveil the iPhone 7 this fall with pre-orders possibly starting on September 9th. The new iPhone is expected to have better waterproofing thanks to the removal of the headphone jack and a new 3D Touch home button that will have zero moving parts.

Conflicting rumors have claimed that Apple will add a Lightning adapter to appease owners, while other reports suggested the company is working on wireless EarPods to include with the device. It could be that both are true and Apple will sell wireless headphones separately because they're more costly than wired headphones.

The leaked part above could be manufactured by a third-party if it's not directly from Apple, but whoever made it, it's an encouraging sign that you won't have to throw your headphones away if you want to jam out on the new iPhone.
