Media Create Co. this month reported the PS4 sold 22,717 units between July 4 to July 10 to rank No. 1 in overall hardware sales.
It sold 23,679 units the week prior.
Tales of Zestiria ranked as the No. 13 title selling 5,045 units for the week.
Capcom Co. Ltd. this week released Resident Evil 5 to U.S. retail.
Resident Evil 5 includes all DLC including Lost in Nightmares and Desperate Escape.
SNK Playmore Corp. this week released digital pre-order sales for The King of Fighters XIV for the Playstation 4.
Digital pre-orders will include Nightmare Geese DLC, Classic Kyo DLC, and KOFXIV Dynamic Theme at no additional cost.
The King of Fighters XIV will include three vs. three team matches and 50 new and veteran characters.
Konami Corp. this week released Gradius II for the Playstation 4 to the Playstation Network division.
Released in 1988, Gradius II is a 2D shooter in which users pilot the Vic Viper to protect planet Gradius.
Activision Blizzard Inc. this week released the Descent DLC Pack for Call of Duty: Black Ops III for the Playstation 4.
The Descent DLC Pack includes four new multiplayer maps — Berserk, Cryogen, Rumble, Empire, and Gorod Krovi.

Media Create Co. this month said the PS Vita sold 11,042 units between July 4 to July 10 to rank as the No. 4 hardware for the week.

Mobile Suit Gundam Extreme VS-Force is a 3D fighting title that will include 2 vs. 2 battles, nine new characters, and squad customization.
The final game includes a new battle system feature called the Force Attack to inflict serious damage to other mobile suit characters.
NIS America Inc.'s Grand Kingdom for the Playstation 4 and PS Vita is a solid action strategy title that includes a wealth of customization and battle options in a FINAL Review.

Microsoft Corp. this week said it will release the Xbox One S 2TB Gears of War 4 Limited Edition Bundle in Sept.
The Xbox One S 2TB Gears of War 4 Limited Edition Bundle will include a custom Xbox One S 2TB with custom red paint, custom controller, Gears of War 4: Ultimate Edition download code, Gears of War 4 weapon and character skins, multiplayer lobby emblem and six Gear Packs with in-game items at $449.99.
Microsoft will sell the Xbox Kinect Adapter for the Xbox One S and PC in Aug.
The Xbox Kinect Adapter will allow Xbox One S and Windows 10 PC owners to utilize the Kinect sensor.
It will sell at $39.99.
Microsoft this week released the Turn 10 Select Car Pack for Forza Motorsport 6 for the Xbox One.
The Turn 10 Select Car Pack includes seven brand new cars, including the 2105 Mercedes-Benz #24 Tankpool24 Racing Truck, 1980 Fiat 124 Sport Spider, and the 1969 Ford Brawner Hawk 3.
It sells at $7.
Microsoft this week said it will release Killer Instinct: Definitive Edition to U.S. retail Sept. 20.
Killer Instinct: Definitive Edition will include 26 characters and 20 stages from Seasons 1 to 3 and Killer Instinct Classic 1 & 2; Original Soundtrack; Bonus Skin Pack; Videos and Artwork; and Cinematic Story Mode.
It will be sold at $39.99.
EA Inc. this week said it will release a new offline Skirmish mode to Star Wars Battlefront July 20.
Skirmish will allow users to play offline against bots in a solo mission or co-op with split-screen.
It can be played on any difficulty level in Walker Assault or Fighter Squadron modes.
Sales for Nintendo Co.'s Wii U hardware ranked third in Japan in the latest sales data for the region.
Media Create Co. this month reported that the Wii U sold 15,470 units between July 4 to July 10 to rank at No. 3 in overall sales.
It sold 4,444 units the week prior.
Minecraft: Wii U Edition ranked as the No. 4 software for the week selling 9,762 units.
Nintendo this week said it will release the NES Classic Edition to U.S. retail Nov. 11.
The Nintendo Entertainment System Classic Edition is a mini replica of the original home console that includes 30 games, HDMI cable, and NES Classic Controller at $59.99.

The NES Classic Controller can connect to a Wii Remote Controller to play Virtual Console titles for the Wii or Wii U.
It will be sold separately at $9.99.

Media Create Co. this month said the Nintendo 3DS sold 20,546 units between July 4 to July 10 to rank as the No. 2 game hardware for the week.

Culdcept Revolt ranked as the No. 1 best-selling software selling 29,321 units for the week.
Retailer Amazon.com Inc. this week began pre-order sales for Pokémon Sun and Moon Steelbook Dual Pack.
Pokémon Sun and Moon Steelbook Dual Pack includes both Pokémon Sun and Pokemon Moon titles in a collectible Steelbook case at $89.99.
The title, to be sold Nov. 18, will include a new world, new Pokémon, and new adventures. Starter Pokémon include Rowlet, Litten, and Popplio.
Nintendo this week released the new Nintendo 3DS XL Monster Hunter Generations Edition to U.S. retail.
The bundle includes the Monster Hunter Generations Edition new Nintendo 3DS XL and a copy of Monster Hunter Generations at $199.99.
Monster Hunter Generations is a new installment of the action RPG series that will include a special collaboration armor set based on Marth from the Fire Emblem series.
Pokémon GO held as the No. 1 free application at Apple Inc.'s App Store and Alphabet Inc.'s Google Play Store post release in the U.S.
This week, Pokémon GO ranked as the top free software across the iOS and Android platforms.
It was released July 6th.
In the title, users can walk around their neighborhood to search and catch Pokémon, visit PokéStops at points of interest, and take on Gym battles.
In-app purchases include PokéCoins starting at $0.99.
