The iPhone 7 Could Ship With Low Power Bluetooth EarPods Claim Those Close To Matter.
The launch of the iPhone 7 should take place next month. Apple's flagship smartphones for 2016 have been in the rumor mill for quite a while. We've got contenders such as a dual camera, no 3.5mm earphone jack and subtle design upgrades floating around. The removal of the earphone jack is the most credible one out of these at the moment. According to sources, this will make the iPhone 7 more waterproof and reduce thickness. As to whether you'll get an adapter or bluetooth earphones with the iPhone, there's nothing concrete at the moment. Some more information has surfaced today. Take a look below to find out more.
When it comes to new technologies, Apple's known to take its time. One of these just might be wireless earpods for the iPhone. While we've been hearing quite a lot of rumors about a lightning to 3.5mm adapter for the smartphone, nothing should be taken as set in stone it seems. Now, sources are suggesting that Apple's been working towards power efficient bluetooth chips for quite a while.
These are a part of the company's efforts towards self reliance in its hardware. Currently, very few of the iPhone's components are purely in-house. To this end, Cupertino bought startup Passif semiconductor in 2013, and had initially hoped to launch the product in 2013, with the iPhone 5s. Had it succeeded, it would have cemented the iPhone 5s' place in history.
Apple A10 Is Going To Be Manufactured By A Single Company; Can You Guess Which One?
Other sources have reported Apple prototyping wireless bluetooth earphones for quite a while. It does appear that the technology's present at Apple. How soon it materializes in an actual product is another matter. It would make for a nice upgrade if wireless earpods did come with the iPhone 7. After all, very little upgrades on the device have managed to permeate the rumor mill. The dual camera been seeing a mixed focus and there won't be any display upgrades this year either.
We're more eager to hear about the Apple A10 and any impressive upgrades the company manages to introduce at this end. Samsung's also managed to impress quite a lot of folks with Iris scanning on the Galaxy Note 7. It's been a while since we saw the iPhone impress either. This year's design changes do appear to sit in nicely with the device's overall form. But as far as features go, the best Apple has been able to come up recently is 3D Touch. Let's hope this year's launch will be different. Thoughts? Let us know what you think in the comments section below and stay tuned for the latest.
